Mākōtuku Pure Capital Education Scholarships

Applications are open!

Scholarships are available to tamariki and rangatahi who whakapapa to Te Korowai o Wainuiārua and are offered in partnership with international investment advisory firm Pure Capital.

A total of $6,500 will be awarded across all applicants with scholarship amounts available:

Primary school students: up to $100

Secondary students: up to $200

Tertiary students: up to $1,000

Preference will be given to students who have some or all of the following: proven academic merit, excellent attendance, a commitment to tikanga Māori and te reo Māori, a commitment to their community, an interest in supporting iwi economic, environmental, and social development, including the hapū and whānau of Uenuku, Tamakana, and Tamahaki.

Applications can be submitted online through the Te Korowai o Wainuiārua Registered Members platform: Māori Me via, the Scholarship Application section.
