To receive your voting papers in the mail for the upcoming local elections, you must be enrolled at your current address by 1 August, that's just 48 hours away.

Go to vote.nz to enrol, check, or update your details.

A few important things to know:

  • If you’re Māori, you choose the Māori or general roll when you enrol,  this is your decision.

  • Friday is your last chance to make a change -  as you can’t change rolls in the 3 months before an election.

  • If your enrolment record doesn’t show up online, it might be because your name or address don’t match exactly, or you're on the unpublished or dormant roll. You can still re-enrol.
