2026/2027 Trustee Elections: Check Your Iwi Register Details

Te Korowai o Wainuiārua Trust is preparing for its 2026/2027 rotational Trustee Elections, with one Trustee position from each of our three Tūpuna Electorates: Uenuku, Tamakana and Tamahaki.
Registered adult uri are encouraged to check their Iwi Register details and confirm their primary Tūpuna Electorate ahead of the election period.
Each registered member aged 18 or over may be listed in one Tūpuna Electorate for voting purposes. If you whakapapa to more than one tūpuna and wish to change your selected electorate, please contact our Iwi Registrar as soon as possible.
If your details are already correct, you do not need to make any changes.

Log in to MāoriMe and check the primary Tūpuna Electorate recorded on your profile.
Log in to MāoriMeCheck your contact details, including your email address and postal address, and update them if needed. Accurate details help ensure you receive election information and your voting pack.

Please check before nominations open
Please complete any checks and submit electorate-change requests by Friday 13 November 2026, allowing time for requests to be processed.
Once nominations open on Monday 16 November 2026, changes to Tūpuna Electorates cannot be made until the election period has concluded.
