Te Tihi o te Rae — Signing Ceremony

On 29 July 2023, Te Korowai o Wainuiārua gathered at Raetihi Marae for the signing of Te Tihi o te Rae, the Deed of Settlement for our historical Treaty claims. The ceremony included the Crown’s apology to our people and marked a significant moment in our iwi’s journey.
