Te Korowai o Wainuiārua has developed a set of guiding values, objectives, and outcomes to form the foundation of our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan. Ngā mihi nui to our interim trustees for all their mahi in laying this groundwork, a roadmap to guide the next phase of our iwi journey.
Our vision is of a thriving, united iwi grounded in whakapapa, tikanga, and mana motuhake, where our people are strong, resilient, and prosperous, our whenua, awa and taiao are protected and restored, and our identity is revitalised.
Importantly, this process is grounded in a commitment to our hapū and meeting the diverse needs of all our uri. We recognise that the strength of our iwi lies in the strength of our hapū, and this strategy is a tool to support and reflect that collective kaupapa.
The attached Strategic Plan outline is designed to help guide the development of our actionable steps, projects, and goals over the next five years. It currently includes high-level aspirations that we want to bring to life through your insights and input.
