Te Korowai o Wainuiārua was granted $1,920,000 in Jobs for Nature – Mahi mō te Taiao Crown funding to launch the Pōkākā EcoSanctuary Foundation Pest Management & Cultural Monitoring Programme.

On Saturday, 29 July, 2023, after generations of mamae, we received our apology and signed our deed of settlement of historical Treaty of Waitangi claims at a ceremony at Raetihi Marae.
